Volunteering New Zealand wanted to bring a bicultural lens to their storytelling during National Volunteer Week in June 2020. Ngātahi Communications partnered with Emma Smart Creative to tell the mahi aroha stories of three Whānau Ora organisations in the South Island.

Cholmondeley Children’s Centre held their first ever Little Gems Awareness Month in 2019, in a bid to enhance local recognition of their brand and raise funds to support at-risk children and their whānau. Ngātahi Communications were asked to plan the roll-out of their Awareness Month communications across all channels, and to build positive media engagement that focused on the value Cholmondeley adds to the community.

Ngātahi Communications worked with the Switched On Group team to build media engagement surrounding an event with mental health advocate Mike King. The aim was to inspire event attendees and other businesses in the industry across Aotearoa to get proactive about discussing mental health.

As huge fans of Life Education Trust Canterbury’s work (and our old friend Harold!), we jumped at the chance to support the team with their communications planning and media relations as they celebrated their 30th anniversary in Christchurch in 2018. The Trust's proactive health and wellbeing programmes for primary school children are largely funded by the local community, so they were keen to use their anniversary as an opportunity to thank all their supporters and raise brand awareness.

Barrier Free NZ Trust and Earthquake Disability Leadership Group (EDLG) approached Ngātahi Communications to support the launch of the Accessibility Charter in 2017. We worked with BMD Creative to successfully develop branding, a website and collateral for the launch event in just four weeks. We also wrote and successfully pitched stories to local and national media.
