Our 2021 Impact Report is here

The past Financial Year has seen Ngātahi transform rapidly to meet the changing needs of our clients in the wake of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Marginalised communities such as disabled New Zealanders and migrant whānau have been adversely affected by rāhui (lockdowns), social isolation and inequitable access to support, services and vaccines. As a result, our clients’ social impact mahi with these communities has become more important than ever. Our 2021 Impact Report looks back at the results we have achieved together with our clients during the Financial Year Ending March 2021 (FY21).

Impact highlights

Our impact work in FY21 centred on addressing inequity in hauora outcomes for Māori, at-risk tamariki, disabled people, people with mental health challenges, and migrant whānau. All our projects aligned with our target Sustainable Development Goals: #3 Good Health and Wellbeing, #10 Reduced Inequalities and #17 Partnerships for the Goals.

To ensure clients could reach their hapori at a time when their support was needed most, we offered blanket discounted rates to all social enterprises, not-for-profits and COVID-19 wellbeing initiatives. We delivered more than 90% of all projects in FY21 at discounted rates, pro-bono or through government funding initiatives.

Thank you to our clients

What makes us most proud of our pandemic response are the strong relationships we have maintained with our clients and that our clients have maintained with their communities. The phone calls, Zoom coffees, personal check-ins, aroha and manaakitanga have flowed throughout the rāhui and beyond, proving the value of always putting whanaungatanga first in business.

Ngā mihi maioha i tō koutou tautoko e te whānau Ngātahi. Your support, partnership and the impact you have created in the past year is incredible.
