Resource: Media consent form template

When you're engaging with any community, obtaining written consent to share their stories, images and words is best-practice. When you're engaging with diverse communities, it's even more important that each person understands the media consent process. If you're not already using a media consent form at your organisation, you should be!

We often create stories with tamariki, people with disabilities and those who speak English as their second (or third or fourth) language. We've developed a simple version of a media consent form that we use to help our interviewees understand the consent process.
